ITINERARY

DAY 1 – MASAI MARA

Departure from Nairobi around 6:00 am. Around 12.00 we will arrive at the entrance to the most beautiful nature reserve in Kenya: the Masai Mara. The name derives from the Masai people (who live in various areas of the plain) and from the Mara river. From July to September it is possible to admire the unique spectacle of the wildebeest migration from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara. This is the only park where you can spot all 5 of the "Big Five" of the African savannah: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhinoceros.

Furthermore, here is the Talek and Mara river, populated by numerous hippos, Maasai giraffes, zebras, gazelles of different breeds, antelopes and other animals typical of this unique reserve. We will arrive at the lodge/camp around 12 pm, here we can have lunch and rest until 3pm, when we will leave for the afternoon game drive. Return to our lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 - MASAI MARA

6:00 breakfast and departure. Delivery in lunch box for lunch.

We start the game drive immediately and will stop around 1pm under the trees to have lunch near the animals.

After lunch and a short rest, we continue with game drives until we return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3 – LAKE NAKURU

6:00 breakfast and departure to reach Lake Elementaita.

On the way there is the possibility of stopping at Lake Naivasha, where it is possible to take a boat safari of about an hour (EXTRA - not included).

Around 12:00 arrival at the lodge, room delivery and buffet lunch. Rest in the pool or room.

At 3.00 pm we set off again for the game drive in Lake Nakuru, with a great chance of seeing rhinos and the charming flamingos on the lake.

We return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4 - AMBOSELI

6:00 breakfast and departure to reach Amboseli. This park was created to offer shelter to animals and combat big-game hunting which risked driving many animal species to extinction, such as the elephant, highly sought after for its ivory.

You arrive at the tented camp around 12.30pm, room delivery and buffet lunch. Rest in the pool or room.

We leave for the afternoon game drive around 3:00 pm and return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After dinner, show by a representative of the Masai tribe.

DAY 5 – TSAVO EXT

6:00 breakfast and departure. Game drive to leave Amboseli park and reach Tsavo East, where you will arrive around 12:00.

The Tsavo East National Park was established in 1948, and with its 13,747 square kilometers it is the largest African park in Kenya, of which the majority is open to the public, while the remainder is dedicated to research. Main attractions include the Galana River, which passes through the Park and the Yatta Plateau, as well as several natural pools and dams used as watering holes by animals.

Around 1pm I arrive at the camp/lodge for room delivery and buffet lunch. Relax in your room or by the pool.

Around 3.45pm departure for the game drive until sunset, when we return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6: WATAMU OR MOMBASA AIRPORT

6:00 breakfast and departure. Game drive to exit Tsavo East park and head towards Watamu or Mombasa (airport), depending on your travel plan.
